  2.    load silent
  3.  
  4. Description:
  5.    This script is meant for use in high-traffic channels.  It provides an
  6.    alias, /silent, that suppresses the display of all join, part, signoff,
  7.    topic, mode, and nick change messages.  They are instead displayed in
  8.    the status bar in STATUS_USER (if present).  The normal behavior can be
  9.    restored with /unsilent.
